AMENDABLES connects customers with vetted craftspeople for garment repair and alteration services. We provide AI-powered diagnosis, logistics management, and quality assurance. We are a platform, not a direct repair service.
AI-generated quotes are estimates. Final prices are confirmed by a craftsperson within 2 hours of submission. For jobs flagged for human review, no payment is taken until the final price is confirmed. Prices include VAT where applicable.
Payments are processed securely via Stripe. We accept all major credit and debit cards. Home visit payments are taken on the day of the visit. Refunds are available if a repair cannot be completed or does not meet our quality standard.
Customers are responsible for providing accurate descriptions of garment issues. AMENDABLES and its craftspeople exercise professional care but cannot be held liable for pre-existing damage not disclosed at submission. All repairs are photographed before and after.
Standard and Instant repairs: cancel before the garment is collected for a full refund. Home visits: cancel at least 24 hours before the visit for a full refund. Late cancellations (under 24 hours) may incur a £10 fee.
If you are not satisfied with a repair, contact us within 7 days of receiving your garment. We will arrange a free re-repair or provide a refund at our discretion. Our quality guarantee does not cover damage caused by normal wear or misuse after return.
Craftspeople joining AMENDABLES agree to maintain active public liability insurance, complete all assigned jobs to a professional standard, and comply with our quality and conduct guidelines. AMENDABLES may remove craftspeople from the network for quality failures.
The AMENDABLES platform, brand, and AI diagnostic engine are proprietary. You may not reproduce or use our technology or brand without written permission.
These terms are governed by the laws of Scotland and the United Kingdom. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Scottish courts.
